1001 uses for an egg yolk..

I'm making delicious passionfruit friands tomorrow (recipe from Australian Women's Weekly Home Baked - absolutely terrific baking manual by the way), where I will use 6 egg whites.

So, off the top of your head what would you make with the 6 egg yolks not used? C'mon think quick and comment.

  1. Custard. Genuine made from scratch custard is divine. If you have an icecream maker, bang the custard into it and voila - vanilla icecream!!

  2. Stacey, if it was winter I'd have done the custard but I decided on garlic butter. The egg yolks bind it all very well. Garlic, butter & the egg yolks in a processor then smothered over crunchy warm bread rolls. Make sure you eat it with whomever you plan on spending the next two days with though ;-)
