Last night I dreamt about this little beauty (typical Australian slang there), it's the KitchenAid Artisan KSM150 Stand Mixer in Almond Cream. Mmmmmm, perfect for the home baker. Now I'm on a mission to rid my house of the kitchen junk etc that we have accumlated and make a new "investment" in one of these. At around A$625.00 (yes I know it's expensive but they're worth it!) I will take a little while to save my "pocket money" and if I'm lucky I might have one in time for this year's Christmas baking.

I received one for my birthday 2 years ago (in red). It's wonderful, but I still use my 10 yo hand mixer for some things: it's just easier. But, it does look gorgeous on the kitchen bench!
