My darling first daughter turned three today, 5:57pm to be exact!! Here she is enjoying the moment with two of her friends (they are sisters) and the dodgy cake we ended up providing. The best I could manage with my newborn was a supermarket white chocolate mudcake topped with one of those edible icing toppers (have you ever tried one of those hideous things?!!) a la Disney Princess style. Who cares, they loved it and we loved watching their smiles. Of course Miss A had to snag the piece that featured her beloved Princess Jasmine. That's my girl....always gets what she wants. Happy 3rd birthday to my precious girl, you're one in a million Boomer!!
Yum ! I love those mass-produced whic choc mudcakes, so i'd be well pleased ;)

ReplyDeleteThose cake toppers can be difficult to put on but the result to the little ones is usually a fabulous one. They love them, don't they?
The problem was (and it wasn't really..) that we didn't moisten the topper enough and since I didn't ice the cake myself it was already dried "icing". Oh well, live and learn not to make a repeat of that type of cake.
