Blooms..

In five weeks our front flower bed of mixed Petunias has blossomed from this bare patch to the amazing mass of gorgeous colour it is now. We just love sitting in the breakfast bay window area of a morning and smiling back at it.

Plenty of rain, good sunshine, Thrive Flower & Fruit Food and sugar cane mulch. That's it.




Whilst you and I are here admiring these flowers but not the God-ugly rocks surrounding them..please give me a suggestion as to what I can do with that border. What would you put there instead?

    We have a God-ugly rock border too ( uglier than yours - ours is that old pockmarked volcanic rock - GAH! ). I am dismantling it rock by rock and pop a few in our bin collection each week :p

    As for replacing it with ?
    I find most borders ugly. We are using clinker brick, but have straight lines, and this is curved.

    How long will you in the house and how much do you want to spend ?
