I have always had an extreme fondness for fonts, especially those of a hand drawn nature. People's handwriting fascinates me and I am lucky to have "a good hand" myself. I think in the early days I modeled my handwriting on my Father's style. He still has the most perfect letters aged 70.

Over the past couple of weeks I have been experimenting on my iPad using the Paper by Fifty Three app. It is free to purchase but the tools are extra costs. You capture your ideas as sketches, diagrams, illustrations, notes or drawings and share them via email or social. It's a nifty app, try it out if you haven't yet. It has been great for me as I will start using my own type across our designs.
