Waves, salt and sand..

I'm heading to the beach for a few days with my girls. The Big Fella shall join us on the weekend, someone needs to tend to the needs of the kitty cats.

Scooters, picnic basket, swimwear, wine and magazines are all packed. I'll come home with a load of this stuff in every inch of our belongings, that's for sure.

It's almost the end of January and to date, I have very little positives to report. My beloved Brisbane underwent the horrible flood on the same day my beautiful niece turned 13 (what a letdown it was for her), and from what I've heard from reports from a long range weather forecaster there are further floods to come. Soldier on!
